Occupation: Wordsmith, former party planner and, like Gemma, a life guru
About: Straight-talking Bobby is always there for his Gemma. She wanted Bob to move in to give her company? He moved in. She wanted Bob to move out so she could spend time with Rami? He moved out. Yep, he's loyal, sensitive and hilarious. Such is his owl-like wisdom, everyone in TOWIE seems to be confiding in him . Well, wouldn't you when he says pearlers like, "It's no skin off your m***e"!
TOWIE tree: Bobby rocked up in series four with a designer bag full of confidence, quickly becoming everyone's GBF. Bobs had quite the crush on Charlie King, but that dream romance never blossomed. Fo' shame. Gemma is also one of Bob's besties, but she can also be one of Bob's arch-enemies! It depends on what day of the week it is.
Bobby has a dream of having a 'gayby' (FYI: that's a baby raised by gay parents), but his plans were put on hold after he started dating vintage TOWIE star, Harry Derbidge. Their dream romance lasted a matter of months before Gem inadvertently discovered Harry cheated on Bobs in the first month of their relationship. Bob dumped Harry in Marbs over their trust issues. So, Marbs wasn't for 'Barry', but what about sunny Southend? Surely a trip there would repair the damage between the two? Nope. Harry was put firmly in the 'friend zone'.
After caring for his ill mother, Bobby fell out with Gemma... MAJORLY. Gem threw Bobby under the Essex bus when she told Lauren that Bob had been doing impressions of her. Bobby responded by chasing Gem around the pool with a flip-flop before Gem threw a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in his face. Standard. Eventually, after a series of start-stop apologies, the pair forgave each other. We give it a matter of weeks before they fall out again.
