In this second extract from our exclusive interview with Everton cult hero Duncan Ferguson, Big Dunc tells our reporter Ned Boulting that nothing much had changed at Goodison when he returned for a second spell there in 2000 – but he also admits that he "never should have left" the club in the first place as it always felt like home.

Everton legend Duncan Ferguson, who played up front for the club in two spells (1994-1998 and 2000-2006) and is now on Roberto Martinez's first-team coaching staff, gave a rare interview to ITV Sport ahead of the club's Europa League group match against Lille.

In this extract, Ferguson looks back on his first spell at Goodison Park, and comments on his famously no-nonsense attitude on the pitch.
