Gizzi Erskine
The impeccably stylish Gizzi Erskine brings a touch of glamour to ITV Food, with her edgy yet healthy recipes
Gizzi Erskine first shot to fame when she started presenting Channel 4's Cook Yourself Thin and released a book by the same name. Since then, her work has appeared in a number of magazines and she has made regular appearances on ITV's This Morning, following a popular mini series in 2010.
Unusually, she worked as a body piercer before she completed a full diploma course at Leith's School of Food and Wine in 2003. She then worked at BBC Good Food magazine and over the past seven years has also contributed to Sunday Times, Fabulous, Elle USA, Marie Claire and other highly-regarded publications.
As well as doing live demonstrations on This Morning, Gizzi is kept busy promoting her latest book Gizzi's Kitchen Magic, appearing as a guest judge on Iron Chef and writing her monthly column for Company magazine. She is also starring in new show Cookery School with fellow chef Richard Corrigan.
