Jo Pratt is a well-respected food author who's recipes are not only creative but simple enough for everyday use

Jo Pratt is a food stylist, writer and presenter who has appeared on ITV's Daybreak, Daily Cooks Challenge and Ten Mile Menu. Her recipes have appeared in ELLE magazine, Sainsbury's magazine and Olive magazine (to name just a few) and she was food editor at GLAMOUR magazine for four years. After growing up in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, she went graduated from Liverpool Moores University in 1995 with a BA honours degree in Home Economics. Her first book The Nation's Favourite Food was published in 2003, leading her to be named one of Waterstone's Authors For the Future and she went on to write In The Mood For Food and In The Mood for Entertaining. She has also worked on most of Gary Rhode's books and TV programmes over the last decade. After a varied career spent working alongside Michelin starred chefs, Jo prides herself on real cooking for real people and loves practising her skills at home on her husband Phil and children Oliver and Rosa.
