Phil Vickery
ITV chef Phil Vickery brings his classic British cooking to This Morning each week, with recipe ideas for every occasion
Phil Vickery started his career training at restaurants in the Lake District before working at Gravetye Manor in West Sussex and Restaurant 74 in Canterbury.
He then moved to Taunton in Somerset where he took over from Gary Rhodes as head chef at the Castle Hotel, where he spent nine years. During this time he won many awards, including Michelin and Egon Ronay stars and, in 1999, went on to release the first of ten books (to date).
Married to former This Morning host Fern Britton, Phil can often be seen contributing his culinary wisdom in the pages of magazines and has appeared in other TV shows such as Ready Steady Cook and ITV's Ten Mile Menu. Make sure you catch all of his video tips on this website, including basics such as how to cut an onion and how to chop vegetables.
