Professional chefs from across the UK battle it out to have their dish declared the winner in Best Dish: The Chefs.
Our 2011 winner was Chris O’Halloran from The Green Inn, Ballater with his bittersweet chocolate tart. In the last series, the Britain's Best Dish judges had a tougher task on their hands as professional chefs battled it out to have their main or dessert named the best dish in Britain. With Mary Nightingale presenting, the heat was turned up in the kitchen, with accomplished chef John Burton Race, food and wine expert Jilly Goolden and chef and restaurateur Ed Baines all tasting of some of the best food served up to the nation in restaurants across every region of the UK.
