Ingredients
- 100 g3½ oz spaghetti
- ½ onion, grated
- ½ carrot, grated
- 150 g5¼ oz fresh minced beef, must be good quality to cook in 5 minutes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml3½ fl oz red wine
- 1 fresh chilli, finely chopped
- ½ bottle passata
- 100 g3½ oz parmesan cheese
- Salt
Method: How to make Cheat's spaghetti bolognese

Put the spaghetti in a saucepan of boiling water with plenty of salt and cook it according to the packet instructions.

In a large frying pan or wok cook the onion, carrot, beef mince and olive oil. Add the red wine and chilli.

Add the passata and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt if desired.

Drain the pasta from the boiling water and add it to the sauce. Mix well and serve with grated parmesan on top.
