Impress your party-goers with my indulgent dessert which is fit for a Prince!
Ingredients
- 300 g10½ oz digestive biscuits, crushed
- 50 g1¾ oz brown sugar
- 115 g4 oz raisins
- 225 g8 oz unsalted butter, melted
- 3 -4 tbsp syrup
- 3 -4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp ground mixed spice
- 200 g7 oz bitter chocolate, melted
Method: How to make Will's chocolate fridge cake
Melt the butter in a large saucepan, then add the fruit and mix well.
Stir in the sugar, cocoa, syrup, spices and finally the biscuit and mix well.
Spoon into a tray lined with baking parchment, and spread out evenly.
Chill well.
Once chilled, spread the melted chocolate over evenly.
Using a serrated spatula, quickly make tight, wiggly lines across the top, then chill well.
Cut into small pieces when chilled.
Serve with strong tea.
