'I don't know if it's empowering' - Carla Bruni on saucy Emily Ratakowski video
Singer, songwriter, supermodel and former French First Lady Carla Bruni joined Wednesday's Good Morning Britain to talk about female empowerment, performing in London for the first time this weekend and more.
Talking of the main topic discussed on the show - of Emily Ratakowski's claim of empowering women by posing in her lingerie and writhing around in spaghetti - Carla said: " I don't know about feminism but certainly it's about being free. She can do whatever she wants - we're in a democracy, you know - but I don't know if it's empowering."
As the wife of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Carla revealed her favourite aspects of being her home country's First Lady for five years, including meeting Nelson Mandela, Michelle Obama and The Queen.
"It was a very interesting time of my life. I don't regret it," she told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
