Dua Lipa and Stormzy win big at politically charged BRITs
It was an electric night at the O2 arena in south-east London last night. Stars gathered to celebrate music and the artists behind it.
Dua scooped British female solo artist, with Stormy took home British male solo artist. It was a great night for Ed Sheeran too, the singer-songwriter picked up a global success award.
But music wasn't the only thing on the agenda. The event was politically charged with grime star Stormzy used it as a platform to launch a rant at Theresa May and the government over their handling of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
The 24-year-old closed the show at the O2 arena by performing Blinded By Your Grace Pt2 under a shower of water. Mid-way through the song, he said: "Yo Theresa May, where's that money for Grenfell?"
He then accused the politician of forgetting about the fire at the west London tower block in which more than 70 people died.
