DCI Banks star Andrea Lowe: 'The series can have another life after me'

Spoiler Alert: Last week, DCI Banks fans were left in limbo following the savage attack on DS Annie Cabbot, and Andrea Lowe and Stephen Tompkinson (DCI Alan Banks) appeared on the show to talk about the shocking outcome which saw Cabbot die on the hit series this week.

After Cabbot had made the decision to leave her husband finally for DCI Banks, it wasn't long before she met her untimely death.

"We couldn't imagine them in domestic bliss at home," Lowe revealed.
"But still, it is quite sad.
"It was great to film and I feel like I've seen the whole thing full circle."

The first full trailer for JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them starring Eddie Redmayne has just broken online.

Presenter Gloria Hunniford joined us this morning to pay tribute to her close friend, Sir Terry Wogan, ahead of his memorial service at Westminster Abbey today.

Over 2,000 guests have been invited to the service and actress Joanna Lumley will read a poem commissioned for the service, while Chris Evans is expected to deliver a tribute.

"It's wonderful to have a chance to say goodbye to Terry because it was all so sudden," she said.

"He was just able to reach everybody. He was a very well read man and a good Irish family man. "
