Peter Andre: 'I had to Aussie up for new film role'

Peter Andre has spoken about his love of acting ahead of his guest role in the new Thomas the Tank Engine film.

The singer will voice Ace - an Australian dare-devil yellow rally car - in a role Peter said he’s had to ‘Aussie up’ for.

The animated film, set for release in July, will see Ace mischievously inspire Thomas to leave Sodor and travel the world without the Fat Controller's permission.

Shane Richie makes return to Eastenders in explosive storyline

Eastenders star Shane Richie has made a shock return to Walford, he has revealed to Good Morning Britain. The star, who plays Alfie, returned to Albert Square in a classic Eastenders 'duf duf' cliffhanger.

He has left the soap following a storyline in spinoff Redwater which saw him flatlining on a hospital table - leading many to presume he had died. Questions were raised by many after his on-screen other half Kat returned to the soap earlier this year.

Last night he was seen making an appearance immediately before the credits rolled checking if the coast was clear as Hayley entered a hotel room. It left many fans of the soap reeling for more and demanding answers as to whether Alfie is the father of Hayley's secret baby.

He said: "We said right, we’re going to bring back Alfie for these particular storylines – tonight is the big reveal – we can’t tell anybody. I was snuck in."

Dame Helen Mirren swears by a 12 minute exercise regime for keeping her figure in check. Spending just 12 minutes daily, she credits the Canadian military fitness plan as the reason she can effortlessly wear a bikini in her sixties.

Intrigued? The exercise plan is actually an early version of the well known HIIT (high intensity interval training) and was originally explained through a series of pamphlets. How to do Dame Helen's workout

  1. Toe touching/warm-up: 30 seconds

  2. Knee raises: 30 seconds

  3. Lateral bending: 30 seconds

  4. Arm circling: 30 seconds each arm

  5. Partial sit-ups: 30 seconds

  6. Chest and leg raising: 2 minutes

  7. Side leg raising: 1 minute

  8. Push-ups: 2 minutes

  9. Leg lifting: 1 minute

  10. Run and hop: 3 minutes
