The idea that Rupert Murdoch can be trusted when the papers he publishes (The Sun and The Times) concentrate on Rebekah Brooks being found innocent and not Andy Coulson's conviction suggests this is likely to happen again. If it was any other industry the press would be falling over itself to demand regulation.

David Cameron will have to give more answers today about why he employed the former News of the World editor Andy Coulson.
Mr Coulson was found guilty of conspiring to hack phones in what's been called "the trial of the century." It's being reported this morning that Scotland Yard now plan to interview Rupert Murdoch about allegations of crime at his British newspapers.
We spoke to Dr Evan Harris from the campaign group Hacked Off, he said it was "pleasing that justice has taken its course."
