Heads at more than 60 emergency departments have warned the prime minister that patients are "dying prematurely" in the corridors of accident and emergency units. In a letter signed by the bosses of the emergency departments, they said the "current level of safety compromise is at times intolerable, despite the best efforts of staff”.

A woman has appeared in court today after being charged with murdering a man 12 years ago and burying his body in her back garden. Barbara Coombes, 63, is accused of killing Kenneth Coombes, believed to be her father.
Youtube have cut business ties with shamed blogger Logan Paul, after the Youtuber appeared to show the body of a suicide victim in one of his posts. Paul himself has posted a written apology to Twitter, claiming his intention was to "raise awareness for suicide and suicide prevention".
