Meghan and Prince Harry can bring so much to their role
– Samantha Markle
Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Markle spoke exclusively to today’s Good Morning Britain, dismissing rumours of a rift as she discussed a potential royal wedding.
Samantha, Meghan’s half-sister from her father's first marriage, addressed reports that she had described Meghan as 'self-obsessed' and was planning to write a tell-all book called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.
Speaking from Florida she confirmed the book and its title but insisted that it won't be a 'slamming tell-all' but "more of a beautiful, warm, witty story of our lives and my life".
Asked directly whether she thinks Meghan is 'self-obsessed', she said: “Of course not, of course not. I just have to say, don’t believe what you read in tabloids. If you didn’t see me say it and you didn’t hear it from a reliable source, you’ve got to remember that tabloids say incredibly far-fetched, horrible things about just about everybody.”
Describing Meghan, Samantha said: “She’s lovely. She’s very animated, very charming, very lively and no matter what, I don’t believe that you can be a half-sister. Either you're sisters or you’re not. In my heart and in reality she’s my sister and she’s absolutely lovely. So let me get rid of any misperception about that whatsoever.”
