‘I felt like I was on fire’: Arthur Collins' acid attack victim bravely speaks out
The ex-Boyfriend of TOWIE star Ferne McCann has been found guilty of an acid attack at a London nightclub.
Arthur Collins threw the corrosive substance across a crowded dance floor in April, seriously injuring at least a dozen people.
Twenty-one year old Sophie Hall was on a night out celebrating her best friend’s birthday when she was caught out up in the horrific attack suffering from third-degree burns.
In an emotional interview with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, Sophie bravely described the moments building up to the horrendous incident and the chaotic scenes that took place after the acid was hurled into the crowd.
“I was so shocked and scared I didn't get a chance to think.”
When asked what her message would be to those who would consider using acid to attack people, Sophie said: “You can ruin a life in seconds, if you catch somebody in the eyes and their sight goes - and their face. You just don’t understand how that is going to impact their life - and unless you’ve had that happened to you, I really don’t think you will ever understand how much it hurts.”
