What is ITV Hub+?

ITV Hub+ is the new name for the ITV Premium subscription service. For £3.99 a month, you can access ITV programmes ad-free by signing up via iTunes on your iOS device.

You can also now sign in on our website using your PC or Mac, or log in through our the ITV Hub app on your smart TV, to enjoy the benefits even more.

And for those with iPhones or iPads, you can now download some of your favourite shows to your device for offline viewing. How good is that!

How do I subscribe to ITV Hub+?

Currently, you can only subscribe to the ITV Hub+ using your app on an iPad or iPhone. This will then also allow you to be able to watch ad-free on our website, too, using your PC or Mac.

If you’d like to subscribe to ITV Hub+, just navigate to your Menu button in your app, and select Subscribe to ITV Hub+. As soon as you do, your first month’s subscription will be charged to your iTunes account, and you’ll be charged on the same date each month until you wish to cancel. Alternatively, you can switch off Auto-Renewal in your iTunes settings, but do be aware that if you cancel your subscription part way through the month, you will still be debited the full amount. You will still be able to access all the great telly on ITV Hub+ until the date your subscription runs out.

Where can I watch ad–free using my ITV Hub+ subscription?

Not only can subscribers watch ad-free catch up on an iOS device, you can now also watch ad-free by signing in to your desktop account.

If you're lucky enough to have a smart TV in your front room, too, you can also log in there to enjoy the benefits of ITV Hub+.

I've bought my ITV Hub+ subscription, but I'm still seeing ads on my PC/Mac.

On occasion it can take up to 24 hours for the subscription to be automatically recognised by your PC or Mac. Simply logging out of your account on that device and logging back in should fix the problem straight away.

Can I download shows using ITV Hub+?

Yes, you certainly can! It's really easy...

Simply tap the "Download" icon beneath an episode that you'd like to download - make sure you're connected to wifi and your download will begin straight away. You can queue up and store as many shows as you like. Anything that you've downloaded is there for you to enjoy for up to 7 days unless it is due to expire from the ITV Hub before then.

You'll find them all by swiping up the My ITV banner at the bottom of the screen when you're in the app, or by going into Settings > Downloads via the main menu.

Please note that some shows are not available to download due to rights restrictions.

Am I paying Apple or ITV for my subscription?

Since you subscribe to ITV Hub+ via the Apple iTunes App Store, you will be billed by Apple for your subscription. You should also receive an email from Apple each month, just before your subscription is automatically renewed.

Do I have to be registered with the ITV Hub to use my Hub+ subscription?

Yes, you have to be a registered user of the ITV Hub.

I have a problem with my payment. Who do I contact?

As all your transactions are handled through Apple, you’ll need to chat to them with any payment issues that could occur. You can visit them here

Can I get a refund if I cancel halfway through the month?

Partial refunds are not available, but if you cancel part way through a month, you will still get the benefits of ITV Hub+ until the date your subscription expires. Once your subscription has expired, you will see the regular adverts again.

Why am I still seeing adverts on Family Guy and American Dad?

Due to rights restrictions, unfortunately these programmes will still contain ads.
