I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is back, which can mean only one thing - the time has come for a brand new cast of celebrities to head Down Under and battle it out in TV’s toughest challenge.
Leaving their plush pads and luxuries far behind, our celebrity campers will spend up to three weeks amongst the critters of the Australian jungle and a whole host of brand new nasty surprises, created just for them.
Last year’s highlights included Gillian McKeith’s Bushtucker Trail dramas, Shaun Ryder's snake night fright and Stacey Solomon being crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Yes, it’s a jungle out there, but luckily the official I’m A Celebrity… site is here to help you see the wood for the trees. Along with all the latest pictures, videos and news as it happens, there are some exciting interactive features in store, including exclusive Ant & Dec japes in Jungle Tea Break, a brand new Twitter game called Where’s Wallaby? and much more!
Jungle hosts Ant & Dec will be joining us each day for Ant & Dec’s Jungle Tea Break. The Geordie duo will give fans their thoughts and opinions on all the action in camp - with comedy consequences. And guess what? We want you to be a part of it. Send in your questions via Facebook and Twitter and find out what’s making them gasp and giggle Down Under.
New for this year is Where’s Wallaby? – a fun Twitter game for fans of the show. I’m A Celebrity… will be getting a new furry friend: an inquisitive wallaby with a thirst for jungle gossip. Viewers need to keep their eyes peeled because Wallaby, dressed in his favourite green and yellow stripy jumper, could make an appearance on screen at any moment! When you see him, just tweet #whereswallaby to join in the fun.
In cyberspace, everyone can hear you scream… so we want you to scream, shout, laugh and rant about the latest Trials, feuds and blossoming romances. The ongoing social media campaign includes the official Facebook page, with almost 1.5million ‘likes’. Fans can also follow I’m A Celebrity… on Twitter.
Last year we asked you to send us your impressions of Gillian McKeith fainting – and hundreds of you sent in your videos, the best of which made it to air on ITV2’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now! This year we want to see more of your amazing clips, so be sure to upload them on the website.
Pressing the red button will also allow viewers to catch-up with the latest goings on in the Jungle with video highlights, profiles and the latest gossip from each of the contestants. Red Button users will also have the opportunity to enter this year’s fantastic competition and vote which celebrity does the dreaded Bushtucker Trial or to keep their favourite celeb in the jungle.
But who will be begging for our votes this year? Watch this space to find out...
