For Charlie Brooks, being separated from her daughter is going to be her toughest challenge. She’s just returned from a road trip across Europe with Kiki, camping out under the stars. “I will miss her a lot but I know she is with my family and I know she will be looked after well.”
Explaining why she wanted to take part, Charlie says she loves new adventures: “I have been camping a lot and I love it,” she says. “I haven’t jumped out of a plane, but I have done some bungee jumps before and so when I got offered this, I decided to accept. I have surprised myself by saying yes, but now I am going I am really excited.”
She does admit to one thing that makes her nervous - people seeing her as Charlie and not Janine. “It is going to be weird to be on television as myself,” she admits. “It can feel quite daunting, but hopefully people will think it is nice seeing me as me!”
