Right now, everyone in camp seems unanimous that Hugo is on the fast-track to be in the final three.
It was the 'Drown and Out' Bushtucker Trial that did it – the fact that he volunteered himself went down well with the other relieved campmates:
"Hugo is blossoming every day he’s in here, and is being very supportive of his fellow campmates. He’s a good man… You’ve proved yourself twenty times over in here," Colin told Hugo as he headed off the Trial.
After Hugo returned triumphant from his watery Trial with the news of eight stars out of eight, some of the other campmates had a chinwag about him.
At the creek, as Eric soaped his trousers (while still wearing them?!), he said of Hugo: "He’s done really well.. "
"It’s going to move him up the rankings…" Colin confirmed of Hugo's star haul.
"I think Hugo really wants it [to win]," Charlie agreed.
"Hugo’s in it to win it, and so am I," pronounced Rosemary from her rock.
"I think it’s probably David, Hugo or Helen for king or queen of the jungle," she confided in the Bush Telegraph.
"Roll on tomorrow," cackled Eric to the nation. “Get another one aht, ‘get em sent home.“
Errrr, Eric – as Ant and Dec would say: it might be you!
