Pat always knew he had his work cut out for him when Ant & Dec announced that he was to go up against an Olympic legend as the bottom two faced off for their position in camp.
But we're not sure either of them knew what was in store as they arrived to take on the Fill Your Face Trial decider.
Let's just say that if Pat has got up anyone's nose in the jungle, he was nothing compared to the sneaky cockroach that lodged itself in Fatima's.
Thanks to Medic Bob, a lot of syringe water and some gutsy snorts, Fatima freed the creepy critter and went on to seal her victory in the tie-break.
"All due respect to Pat," Fatima sighed, cockroach souvenir in hand. "It was just unfortunate that he'd come up against someone who's prepare to die!"
Wow...
And Pat was of a similar frame of mind when he hopped back into the studio to chat to Ant & Dec after his dramatic exit from the Trial clearing.
"I would love to have won it, without a doubt," he admitted. "But I'm up against the toughest woman in the world!"
