The discovery of a tick by darts champ Eric Bristow sparked a frenzy among the Celebrities in Snake Rock today.
Eric explained the matter in graphic terms to Ashley: “I’ve got one of those nit things, it’s in there sucking my blood.”
The sporting star then trotted over to the Bush Telegraph to have the offending tick removed from his neck by everyone's favourite doctor, resident camp medic Dr Bob.
The worried campmates duly checked themselves, and then each other, for critters. Hugo and Colin checked each other’s backs, while Ashley sought help from Nadine.
Ashley commented of Eric's ailment, not entirely sympathetically: “It was so disgusting. It made me nervous. How did it get on his neck?”
Afterwards Hugo joked, "That was the least romantic exposure of flesh ever."
