What is ITV1+1?
New channel ITV1+1 will show ITV1 one hour later than it is currently broadcast. This will be in addition to the normal ITV1 service.
When will I be able to watch ITV1+1?
ITV1+1 has now launched. You’ll be able to find it on Sky, Freeview, Freesat and Virgin.
Will I need to manually retune to get ITV1+1?
If you have a Freeview TV or box, you will need to manually retune now to get ITV1+1. There’s no need to retune on Sky, Freesat or Virgin.
What are the EPG numbers I need?
Freeview – 33
Sky – 131
Freesat – 112
Virgin - 114
How do I retune?
- Switch on your digital box or digital television
- Press 'menu' on the remote control
- Select the 'set up' or installation option
- Select 'first time installation' option (sometimes called 'factory reset', 'full retune' or 'default settings'
- Press 'OK' if your equipment asks if you want to delete all your channels – don’t worry, this is normal
- If you are prompted for a code, try 0000 or 1234
- Channels will be automatically installed. This may take a few minutes, and your equipment may shut down and restart.
After re-tuning you may have to reset your 'favourites' list. If you re-tune a digital recorder, you should re-set future recordings.
These instructions are a guide only – each product works slightly differently. For detailed instructions on how to retune, go to www.tvretune.co.uk.
Will I receive my normal regional programming on ITV1+1?
Unfortunately, we are limited technically, and are unable to offer full regionality on ITV1+1 and some ITV1+1 regions will not show the correct regional news. Viewers are encouraged to continue watching on the main ITV1 service for full regionality.
ITV1+1 will not be launched in the Channel TV region.
Will my other ITV channels be affected?
In order to offer the new ITV1+1 service, ITV2+1 will transmit with reduced hours on the Freeview platform, from 6pm until 6am. We hope to relaunch ITV2+1 as a full 24 hour service on Freeview in the near future.
Freeview viewers will need to retune their set top box to continue receiving ITV2+1 and to enjoy the new ITV1+1 service.
On Sky, ITV2+1 moves to EPG 179. ITV4+1 will no longer available on the Sky platform. We hope to relaunch ITV4+1 on Sky in the near future.
