A pond or water feature makes a great focal point for any garden. If you don't want to use a pre-moulded pond, you can make your own pool.

After digging a pond-sized hole, use old carpet to line the pool to protect the liner from sharp stones. Once you've added the liner, you can use pebbles to shape the pool.
