About me
I co-host This Morning with my fiance Ruth Langsford every Friday.
My journalistic career spans 30 years and I have the honour of being the longest-serving breakfast television anchorman in Britain – if not the world! I launched the newly created GMTV in 1993, a position I held for 13 years, and I now host the three hour Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes programme on Sky News, Monday to Thursday mornings and the Eamonn Holmes Show on Radio Five Live.
I've presented a number of prime-time quiz shows including The National Lottery Jet Set for BBC1, Sudo-Q for BBC Two and The Rich List for Fox TV in America. I recently fronted ITV’s prime time series The Feelgood Factor, along with Myleene Klass.
I was lucky enough to win the Television, Radio & Industry Club’s award for Best Satellite and Digital TV Personality for two years running, and have received honorary doctorates from Queens University Belfast and Staffordshire University.
I'm a doting father of four and a passionate Manchester United fan! I divide my time between Belfast, where I live, London, where I work, and of course, Manchester.
