Pixie Lott is the new girl on the block hoping to score a No1 hat-trick.
2 number 1 singles, a top ten debut album and most recently 2 MTV Awards, Pixie Lott, 18, is the new girl on the block and she's not planning on going anywhere.
Pixie joins Holly and Phil for a chat about new single Cry Me Out.
Unlike her first two dancey singles, Cry Me Out is more of a ballad, giving Pixie the chance to show off her voice. She explains: "I wanted to do something really classy and mature for the next single, where I could get a bit more emotional."
Pixie's debut album, Turn It Up, was released in September 2009 and made it to number six in the charts. Pixie says: "It's taken me four years to write the album. I've been writing with some amazing producers and songwriters in New York, LA and Atlanta. I feel lucky to work with such talented people."
On her success so far Pixie has said: "When my first single came out, I'd look out of my bedroom window and see photographers there and it was quite full on...Sometimes I wish I could have a bit longer in bed or have more time with my friends, but it all pays off when I'm on stage with my live band."
