19-year-old US country music superstar Taylor has claimed a piece of music history!
Having sold over 10 million records, had the most top 40 hits this decade and the longest charting album of the century, Taylor became the youngest artist ever to win the coveted Entertainer of the Year title this year's Country Music Awards.
Taylor joins Eamonn & Ruth to talk about her new single, Fifteen, about being a fifteen year old girl in love.
Taylor's latest album Fearless reached double platinum status in the US just four weeks after its release in 2008, while lead single Love Story became a hit on both the country and pop charts.
Taylor's first UK tour starts at London's Wembley arena on 23rd November. Her record label said she's excited to be here and loves London so much that she calls it "Fundon"!
Taylor hit the headlines in September 2009 when rapper Kanye West stormed the stage at the MTV Awards and took the microphone during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video, saying that Beyoncé should have won. Even Barack Obama who was at the awards was caught calling Kanye a "jackass!" under his breath!
In a newspaper article Taylor said that Kanye phoned her to apologise: "He was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology."
In 2010, Taylor makes her film acting debut in romantic comedy Valentine's Day, starring alongside Twilight heartthrob Taylor Lautner: "He and I have gotten really close, it was really confusing on the set with two Taylors in the same scene."
Taylor became obsessed with music when she was six, and begged her parents to take her to Nashville at the age of 11: "We drove up and down Music Row and I would walk up to the record labels with a little CD of me singing karaoke. I'd walk in and say 'Hey, I'm Taylor, I'm 11, I want a record deal, call me.'"
For Taylor becoming an entertainer was more than a dream, it was a calling. "For me music has always been it."
