Darby

A man who may have abused up to 400 children at a London care home has apparently committed suicide on the eve of his trial.

John Darby was due to answer charges relating to ten victims from the Hollydale Children's Home in Catford in the 1970s and 80s. But he's died after being found unconscious in his flat.

Two of his victims have spoken of their shock... and talked of the torture they were subjected to by a man they once trusted. Their names have been changed in this report.
