Hi everyone… I’m Jane McDonald and having an absolute blast being back with the Loose Women team!
I have been blessed with an amazing recording and performing career, which actually started well before the BBC screened The Cruise back in 1998 - oh my goodness, who was that woman?! The past 14 years have been truly incredible, and I'm forever thankful to my wonderful fans, many which have been with me from the very beginning.
I also have my own design label, The Jane McDonald Collection where I work closely with my own designer on all of my couture gowns, which are featured in all of my concerts.
With such a hectic schedule, it's always lovely to be at home with Ed, my wonderful fiancé. Thankfully Ed knows just how crazy it gets at times, having been the drummer in The Searchers and Liquid Gold and travelling the world touring.
I’m best known for: My northern dry humour and being a singer on a cruise ship
The proudest moment of my career is: Just around the corner
The first thing I do in the morning is: Remember where I am!
My favourite lunch is: One that lasts into the evening
The most famous person in my phonebook is: My Mother! She has a bigger fan base than anyone I know.
The actor who would play me in a film about my life is: Alan Carr as he does a very good impression of me and I’ve seen it many times
My favourite memory from working on Loose Women is: Singing Sonny and Cher I’ve got you babe with Josh Groban
If I wasn’t presenting Loose Women, I’d be: Watching it! It's brilliant.
You’d be surprised to learn that: I’ve actually answered these questions myself!
The one thing I couldn’t live without is: Food and air like everyone else
