A mother to twin boys and an ambassador for the Alzheimers charity, Sally joins the Loose Women panel after years of TV, radio and theatre work – her first big break being a three year tour of Girls’ Night Out, followed by a role as Michelle in the Royle Family.

Of course, she’s best known as Shelley from Corrie, a part she played for five years before a spate of stage appearances, a Wallace and Gromit film (she was the voice of Piella Bakewell in A Matter of Loaf and Death), a big Sky1 comedy show Mount Pleasant, and most recently signing up to be the newest Loose Women addition. “I’ll probably say something I shouldn’t, but I’m the first one to admit when I’m wrong” says Sally about her new gig, adding, “It’ll be hilarious to try and get any reason out of Sherrie, she’s away with the fairies!”
