Strictly's Joe McFadden wants to do some Scottish dancing on the show: 'I'm looking forward to dancing in my kilt!'
JOE MCFADDEN TALKS STRICTLY AND SCOTTISH DANCING!
He's the star of Holby City who has wowed audiences on Strictly Come Dancing and Joe joined us to talk about his dance floor antics.
When asked if he fancied doing some Scottish dancing on the show, Joe said, 'I would love them too. They should do a Scottish version, they do an Irish version. I'm quite looking forward to getting the kilt on actually - for the first time my legs are actually in alright shape. I've been bouncing around on them for 10 weeks.'
And Joe is feeling nervous about performing two dances - the American Smooth and Argentine tango in the semi-final.
'I'm nervous about the semi-final,' Joe admitted. 'We've had a fantastic time and gotten to this stage. It's the first week I've not had any injuries and I feel like I'm in the rhythm of it now. It feels nice to be doing two dances.'
'I'm very much hoping to do the Strictly tour. It's not been finalised yet, but I'm hoping to do it. Fingers crossed. We'll see.'
Professional dance rKatya was in the audience and when Joe was asked about her previous dance partner, Ed Balls, she interupted: 'I can tell you the difference between Ed and Joe - this guy is breaking my back!' she laughed referring to her posture on the dance floor.
'Katya is amazing,' Joe revealed. 'She's a fantastic choreographer and a bit like a counsellor really, having to get me through it.'
'In the beginning I was looking around thinking everyone else was amazing, and it was scaring me as I thought I was never going to be as good. Katya just said to me: "You can only try and be better than yourself".'
