George’s top five tips for the perfect wedding
Right from the word go, work out how much cash you have to splash and take out 10% for emergencies/last minute luxuries.
Tap into your people! Put the word out there that you are getting hitched as someone will know someone who is a budding photographer, has a posh set of wheels you can borrow, or has a passion for baking and is desperate to get their hands on your three tiers!
Put together a ‘Big Day Bible’ – a personalised a-z checklist of what to do and when. Trust me this kind of organisation will save a huge amount of hassle further down the line! And whilst you’re at it, get tap happy with that excel spreadsheet to manage your finances – the more detailed the better.
Check out five wedding venues that all offer something a little different in style – as in life, the one you least expect to blow you away often does.
Make sure you take some time to properly ‘set the scene’ by integrating your colour-scheme/theme into the wedding invitations. Is your day formal or informal? Your guests need to know.
