Whilst most of us know our way around a kitchen and can cook with relative confidence, sometimes it's helpful going back to basics, to pick up better culinary habits and utilise your time in the kitchen effectively, and that's where Kitchen Basics series comes in...
Hopefully, there will be no more store bough salad dressing with Dean's freshly made version!
1 & ½ tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
½ tsp wholegrain mustard
½ tsp honey
½ clove garlic, crushed
Salt and pepper
Whisk together the vinaigrette in a small bowl along with a pinch of salt and pepper, or place all the ingredients into a clean jar, screw on the lid and shake. Refrigerate until needed.
