Gaynor Faye is back in the kitchen putting a Yorkshire spin on a British classic pud. She's showing us how to make her deliciously indulgent sticky toffee parkin - perfect for Sunday pud this weekend!
With the Easter weekend ahead Gaynor Faye launches our new food series. Today she’s making one of her favourites - a Barnsley Lamb Chop.
KAYE: A perfect example of a simple dish Nadia does instinctively but I struggle with. I am only prepared to see so many steaks scraped into the bin. So, read her instructions twice and follow them. Eventually, it becomes second nature, which is a huge buzz.
These popsicles are super quick and easy to make, and are a great healthy snack for the kids.
KAYE: I learned to make cheese sauce in home economics class some time before Parmesan was discovered in Scotland. It had a rather grey tinge. So Nadia’s recipe is now my go-to. I took a lot of convincing to warm the milk rather than grab it out of the fridge, but it does make a difference.
