Dr Hilary talks to some Hollywood slimming experts about the latest techniques - and tries a glowing green smoothie - as he finds out the secrets the stars use to stay trim.
The Glowing Green Smoothie recipe
Serves: 5-6 glasses
360-480ml of water
Large bunch or 1/2 head of spinach
1 head of romaine lettuce (approx 340g) roughly chopped.
Juice of half a lemon
3-4 sticks of celery, halved
1 banana, peeled & roughly chopped
1 pear cored, seeded & quartered
1 apple cored, seeded & quartered.
1/3 bunch of parsley (optional)
Put the water, spinach and lettuce in a blender and pulse until smooth.
Next add the celery, apple, pear (and herbs if using) and blend again until smooth.
Finally add the banana and the lemon juice and give it one final blend.
