Bill Granger is a cook, food writer and restaurateur who moved from Melbourne to Sydney at nineteen and opened his first restaurant, bills, in the suburb of Darlinghurst at the age of 22. Bill now has two further Sydney restaurants - as well as international branches in Kamakura, Tokyo and Yokohama. Bill’s first London restaurant, Granger & Co, opened in Notting Hill in November 2011.
Bill’s cookbooks are international bestsellers, and include the well-known titles bills food, simply bill, Every Day and Bill’s Everyday Asia, which have sold over one million copies worldwide. His latest book, Easy was published by HarperCollins in the UK, September 2012.
Bill has written for delicious., Taste and Waitrose Kitchen magazines amongst others, and is the regular food contributor in the Independent. His three television series - bills food, Bill’s Holiday and Bill’s Tasty Weekends - have been viewed in more than 30 countries worldwide.
