I’m Lorraine’s Showbiz Reporter which means I have one of the best jobs in the world getting to break all the biggest entertainment stories of the day and interview the most interesting stars in the world like Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Kanye West and Lady Gaga.
For the rest of the day I’m the Head of Showbiz at The Sun newspaper and a columnist for The Sun on Sunday, so I’m pretty busy but I love what I do.
I’m from New Zealand but have lived in the UK for nine years now, which explains my funny accent.
I’m best known for: Breaking big showbiz exclusives – break-ups, make-ups and bust-ups – and tweeting them often @danwootton
The proudest moment of my career is: Winning a British Press Award for Best Showbiz Reporter
The first thing I do in the morning is: Check my emails to see what’s gone on overnight
My favourite breakfast is: Granola with full fat milk
The most famous person in my phonebook is: Lorraine Kelly or Simon Cowell!
The actor who would play me in a film about Lorraine is: James Corden
My favourite memory from working on Lorraine is: Getting to interview Madonna in New York. It was her only British interview and it was a great experience.
If I wasn’t a showbiz reporter for Lorraine, I’d be: Watching at home
You’d be surprised to learn that: My passion outside of showbiz is politics
The one thing I couldn’t live without is: My iPad Mini
