This healthy porridge recipe is made with oats, bananas, vanilla and skimmed milk.
200g porridge oats
750 ml skimmed milk
2 tbsp single Cream
2 bananas, sliced
2 vanilla pods seeds scraped and pods too
Good pinch of salt
1. Put the porridge oats, milk, cream and vanilla seeds and pods into a saucepan on a medium heat. Bring just to the boil stirring constantly.
2. Once bubbling add the salt and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
3. Discard the vanilla pods and stir through the sliced banana. Serve warm.
