Tabitha Somerset Webb is a fashion designer, journalist and TV personality who is best known as the founder and principal designer of the must-have handbag and accessory label Tabitha.
Simultaneously Tabitha runs international clothing label Project D with business partner Dannii Minogue. Her television credits include ITV2’s Style Queen, Project Runway and Great British Hairdresser. She’s also a worldwide magazine contributor and sits on the judging panel for this years national Glamour Magazine ‘Best Dressed Couple’ competition.
Now in its ninth year, Tabitha is a firm celebrity favourite. Her handbags are regularly spotted on the arms of noted fashionistas including Fearne Cotton, Myleene Klass and Cat Deeley: I wanted to embrace everything fun, naughty and cool about being a girl, and put it into a handbag. Whatever you wear, your handbag can tell a thousand tales and make or break a look.
Following what seemed to be her endless search for the elusive perfect handbag, Tabitha designs have become synonymous with high fashion and exquisite quality, all without breaking the bank: Many people have no idea that I was an advertising executive for six years before falling into the world of fashion. I was frustrated by the selection of bags and accessories available, so I decided to design my own range bringing together fashion-focused luxury looks at a reasonable price point.
