Canoeist dies in river

This atrocious weather has claimed the life of an experienced canoeist from Berkshire, who became trapped under his boat while riding a flooded river in the Westcountry. Chris Wheeler, 46, from Reading was pulled from the River Dart at Newton Abbot after getting caught beneath a tree yesterday afternoon. Two fellow canoeists fought to free him but he was pronouced dead at the scene. Bob Cruise reports.
