Greece's bailout referendum is pointing towards a closely balanced result in a vote that could decide the country's future in the European Union, a new poll has suggested.

The opinion poll - conducted by the ALCO polling institute and published in the Ethnos newspaper - reflects a sharp swing from previous polls that showed the No vote strongly ahead.

The new poll gave a slight lead for the Yes vote in favour of the bailout at 44.8% against 43.4% for the No vote. 11.8% were undecided.

A fresher start than on previous days with a little mist or fog in places, but dry with plenty of sunshine which will soon burn off any murkiness.

It'll turn increasingly warm and humid later, or hot towards the southeast with top temperatures of 30C (86F).

Cloud will gradually build from the southwest, with isolated, potentially thundery showers possible late in the day.
