Two peacekeepers and a civilian have been killed in an attack on a UN base in northern Mali, officials have said.
A spokesperson for the UN force in Mali (MINUSMA) earlier said "four or five" rockets had landed inside the base in the town of Kidal.
It is unknown who is responsible for the attack, which comes days after Islamist militants killed 20 people at a Radisson Blu hotel in the country's capital.
Northern Mali was occupied by Islamist fighters, some with links to Al Qaeda, for most of 2012.
They were driven out by a French-led military operation, but violence has continued in the region since.
