Govt to pressure British firms on human rights overseas
In the next few months, the government will introduce a policy requiring British companies to do more to respect human rights overseas.

by Emily Morgan - ITV News CorrespondentMark Bridger, the man accused of murdering April Jones, told the jury he had images of youngsters on his computer because he was researching the development of his own children.
On claims Bridger was researching child development, the prosecution said: "You are advancing a complete fantasy."
The prosecution also read out some of the searches the defendant did on his computer - some relate to naked children.

The two suspects under arrest for the alleged murder of a soldier in London were known to the security services, ITV News understands. Properties in Saxilby in Lincolnshire and Greenwich in south-east London have been searched by officers.

Boris and Cameron meet Woolwich community leaders
The Mayor of London has tweeted a picture of him and the Prime Minister meeting community leaders in Woolwich.
Boris Johnson tweeted: "Earlier today, I met with community leaders in Woolwich alongside David Cameron and local MP Nick Raynsford.
"Clear and overwhelming message from the community meeting - London won't be divided by this sickening atrocity."
Judge: Family GP jailed for sex offences is 'a disgrace'
by Rob Murphy - ITV West Country reporterDr Davinder Jeet Bains, who filmed female patients with a camera hidden in his watch, admitted to 39 sex charges.
These included two sex acts with a child, 11 sexual assaults and 13 voyeurism counts. He asked for 65 other offences to be taken into account.
Some of Bains' victims were school girls and the court heard how one parent complained to his surgery in Royal Wootton Bassett.
The judge said to Bains: "You are a disgrace to the medical profession."
He was also placed on the sex offenders register.
William Hague: 'We will never give in to terror'
Speaking in Israel, Foreign Secretary William Hague responded to the Woolwich soldier murder. He said: "As our Prime Minister said this morning, we will never give into terror."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu added: "We wish to send our condolences to the family and to the people of Britain... We sympathise deeply."
Wiltshire doctor sentenced to 12 years for sex offences
A former GP from Wiltshire has been jailed for 12 years after admitting a string of sex attacks while at work.Dr Davinder Jeet Bains worked at the Tinkers Lane Surgery in Royal Wootton Bassett between 2009 and 2012. He also secretly filmed female patients with a camera hidden in his watch.
Dr Bains has admitted 39 offences and asked for another 65 counts to be taken into consideration. These include sexual assault and voyeurism.
