Campaign chief: Clinton 'is really good on her feet'

As Hillary Clinton prepares to go head to head with Donald Trump in the first presidential debate, her campaign communications chief is confident she will be able to handle her Republican rival.

Mrs Clinton "is really good on her feet" and a "great debater," Jennifer Palmieri told ITV News.

She added that the team suspect that Trump will be "pretty disciplined" and able to hold it together for 90 minutes contrary to how some may expect.

"We're not expecting that someone who's wildly undisciplined or unhinged is going to come tonight from the Republican nominee."

Summing up her candidate's core aims for the debate, Palmieri said: "We know she's going to come forward talking about plans she has for the American people.

"We want to make sure that what American voters are seeing when they're looking at this debate, is that she can do the job."

Specialists scour new Kos site in Ben Needham search

Specialists are carrying out a painstaking search of the potential burial site of missing British toddler Ben Needham on the Greek island of Kos.

A new line of inquiry has suggested Ben may have been crushed to death by a digger close to a farmhouse his grandfather was renovating in July 1991.

A local man has claimed his late friend Konstantinos Barkas may have accidentally killed the 21-month-old.

Video report by ITV News Correspondent Martin Geissler.
