Girl stabbed at Jerusalem Gay Pride march dies

A teenage girl who was among five people who were stabbed at a Jerusalem Gay Pride march by a suspect police have identified as an ultra-Orthodox Jew has died of her wounds in hospital.

Shira Banki, 16, had been in a critical condition since being stabbed in the back during Thursday's march.

The suspect, Yishai Shlissel, carried out the attack just weeks after being released from a 10 year prison term, for a similar attack where he stabbed three people at the 2005 Gay Pride march in Jerusalem.

Five people, including a three-year-old boy, were taken to hospital after an explosion on a boat today.

Police were called to Bray Lock in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, at around 12.40pm following the incident.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "A man and a woman aged in their forties and a teenage girl who were on the boat have been taken to St George’s Hospital in London for treatment.

"A woman in her thirties and a three-year-old boy who were also thought to have been on the boat have been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment."

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Another man received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Police said the boat was thought to be privately owned.

The actress told ITV News she had seen Cilla twice in the past four weeks and they had "long chit chats".

Sir Bruce Forsyth: We're going to miss you Cilla

Sir Bruce Forsyth said he still thought of Cilla Black as a 'kid' and that he couldn't believe she had died aged 72.

The TV presenter and entertainer said Cilla had a "common touch" and was loved by everyone.

Sir Bruce, 87, told ITV News: "Bobby will be there to meet her, she never really got over Bobby her husband leaving when he did.

"What a lovely performer, what a lovely lady and we're going to miss you."

Sir Cliff Richard said he will miss his "outrageous" friend dearly.

"Some people will always be with us and Cilla is one of those people," the singer said.

"I will always think of her as outrageous, funny, incredibly gifted but above all full of heart.

"She was a very special person, and I have lost a very wonderful friend, I will miss her dearly. God bless her."

Coronation Street star Les Dennis tweeted that he was "shocked and saddened" by the news.

Comedian Jimmy Tarbuck also paid tribute to Black, who he had been friends with for more than 50 years.

He said: "She was Liverpool's Cinderella, and she did go to the ball. What a career."

Christopher Biggins: Cilla was 'a national treasure'

Friend and fellow presenter Christopher Biggins, who starred alongside Cilla Black in Surprise! Surprise!, described the entertainer as a "national treasure".

He said that news of her death in Spain was "really devastating".
