Carrying flowers, portraits and signs that said "I am not afraid," more than 20,000 people marched in Moscow to mourn opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.
Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters are currently tackling a fire at a pub under refurbishment on Doggett Road in Catford, London Fire Brigade said.
Firefighters led four people to safety from the building who were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation but there were no reports of any serious injuries.
Most of the roof, half of the second floor and part of the first floor of the building is reportedly on fire.
Firefighters from Greenwich, Lee Green, Bromley, Forest Hill, Lewisham, Bromley, East Greenwich and Orpington fire stations are at the scene.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two teenagers suffered serious injuries.
Officers were called to a property in Bracknell, Berkshire, shortly before 12.40pm today following reports that a serious assault had taken place, Thames Valley Police said.
Two teenagers are currently being treated in hospital with serious injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector Jim Reeves said officers were patrolling the area to talk to anyone with information or concerns.

Demonstrators marched through the centre of Moscow, crossing over the bridge near the Kremlin where the politician was shot dead.

The Defence Secretary has praised Britain's armed forces for their work in fighting Islamic State (IS) extremists during a visit to Cyprus.
Michael Fallon told the 400 service personnel based at RAF Akrotiri he was "proud" of their role in helping the Iraqi government defend itself against the threat of IS.
"While this fight will take time, the coalition's air strikes are having a direct effect in supporting Iraqi ground operations against IS," Fallon said.
"In the north, areas around Mount Sinjar have been retaken, bringing relief to the local Yazidi population and applying pressure to IS forces in Mosul. In the south, Iraqi forces operations are beginning to push back ISIL."
Police looking for missing Bristol teenager Becky Watts have spent the day searching a house around 3.5 miles from her home.
Neighbours said officers earlier removed a car parked outside.
Becky Watts's uncle told ITV News the family remains hopeful, but are now 'running on empty'.
