Ex-Tory MP Proctor's home searched in child sex investigation

Former Conservative MP Harvey Proctor said today he feels embroiled in a 'Kafka-esque fantasy' - after police searched his house in Leicestershire.

The raid was part of an investigation into claims of historical child abuse by establishment figures. Mr Proctor denies any involvement.

NYPD release dramatic images of 'crashed' Delta jet

The New York Police Department has released several images of the Delta passenger jet that skidded off the end of a snow-covered runway at New York's LaGuardia airport.

In the dramatic photographs, the nose of the stricken airliner can be seen poking over water beyond the airport boundary.
