'Arrested for what?', Blatter's rebuffs arrest question

ITV News' Sport Correspondent Steve Scott has attended Fifa president Sepp Blatter's press conference in Zurich, and asked Mr Blatter if he fears being arrested amid allegations of bribery and corruption at the body.

Blatter: Personal attacks will not impact view for future

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has said he was "touched" by personal attacks against him during his bid to be re-elected head of the sporting body and he will "forgive but not forget".

But he added he had been elected by 133 national associations and "I am the President of everybody...and those associations that have been against me... this has no impact in my view for the future".

He added: "I will go to the competitions, I will go to New Zealand, I will go to Canada as President".

Sepp Blatter: Will not forget Uefa 'hate campaign'

Uefa president Michel Platini personally asked Blatter to resign over the corruption scandal, and appealed for members to vote him out at yesterday's closely watched election battle.

Blatter told Swiss TV station RTS

It is a hate that comes not just from a person at Uefa - it comes from the Uefa organisation that cannot understand that in 1998 I became president." Asked if he would forgive Platini.

I forgive everyone but I do not forget.

– Sepp Blatter

He suggested the timing of a police swoop at a Zurich hotel on Wednesday, when seven Fifa football officials were arrested in connection with decades of alleged rampant corruption and fraud, was "an attempt to interfere with the congress."

He added: "I am not certain but it doesn't smell good."
