Sunbathers in Brazil rescued a school of dolphins stranded on the shore of a beach on the cost of Rio de Janeiro.
Captured by holidaymaker Gerd Traue, the dramatic video shows the dolphins appear from nowhere and suddenly beaching en masse.
They were apparently unable to get back out to sea due to the strong ocean currents.
After hearing the squeals of distress from the animals dozens of people raced to the rescue; dragging the animals by the tail back into deeper waters.
The effort was apparently successful. After all the dolphins were rescued, the crowd of dolphin-savers and onlookers broke into cheers.
The video has had over one million views so far.
