The France v Ukraine match was suspended after a lightning storm struck above the Donbass Arena in Donetsk.

Referee Bjorn Kuipers was forced to halt the game after just five minutes of play and took the players off the pitch.

Fork lightning was reported just before the game was called off.

The two sides are in Group D along with England, who take on Sweden later tonight.

The game was re-started at 6pm.
