The Princess Royal reviewed the seven ships in P&O Cruises' fleet today to mark the company's 175th anniversary.
Thousands of people lined the waterfront at Southampton as the ships take the royal salute before departing on cruises.
The seven ships - Adonia, Arcadia, Aurora, Azura, Oceana, Oriana and Ventura - sailed into Southampton at dawn - the first time they have gathered together in their home port.
Anne was greeted by the seven ship's captains in a special ceremony on Oriana.
The Princess named Aurora and Oceana and boarded the Trinity House vessel Patricia to review the fleet.
A total of 15,000 passengers disembarked and 15,000 new passengers were expected to board the ships during the day, with the whole event bringing an estimated £17 million to the local Southampton economy.
