Katy Perry has said that she felt that she has a "second chance at life" after the breakdown of her marriage to Russell Brand.
She said she hopes her new film will show fans that "even Katy Perry" has emotional obstacles in her life and that it is possible to overcome them.

At last night's premier, Perry wore a swan-like Marchesa dress and Jimmy Choo heels on the candy-coloured carpet, which was filled with life-sized sweets in London's Leicester Square.
She took time to pose for photos and sign autographs for the hundreds of fans who waited hours to meet her.
She said that despite cold weather she was happy to be the in London, declaring that she has had a "long romance" with the English.
The warts-and-all documentary film follows Perry as she embarks on her year-long California Dreams tour, and features scenes showing the breakdown of her marriage with Brand.
Her divorce from the British comedian will be finalised later this month.
Perry said she was "pretty happy" with the film, but admitted that there are some "unflattering shots". She added: "Acne and zits in 3D is never fun."
