Mystery intruder gatecrashes India's Opening Ceremony parade
India is demanding an explanation from Locog after a mysterious woman gate crashed their team procession at the Olympic Opening Ceremony on Friday, reports the Times of India.
While the Indian contingent wore traditional bright yellow Rajastani turbans and saris, the mystery woman stood out in her casual attire.
India's acting chef-de-mission Muralidharan Raja was quoted in the Times of India saying her walking among their squad was a 'shame'.
– Muralidharan Raja, India's acting chef-de-missionShe had no business being there. It was a clear case of intrusion . We are taking up the issue with the organizers. We don't know who she is and why she was allowed to walk in.
But today all eyes will be on India's 19 year old Table Tennis player, Soumyajit Ghosh as he competes in the second round of the competition.
