Fans have gathered for the premiere of Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the final film in the wildly successful movie franchise based on the books by Stephanie Meyer.
Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the films said that some 2,200 people from all over the world had registered to camp on a concrete plaza outside the downtown Los Angeles movie theatre.
All three stars turned out on the red carpet, there had been concerns after Hollywood couple and co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson separated earlier this year, but they have since reconciled and received a warm welcome from dedicated fans.
Taylor Lautner has insisted he and his Twilight co-stars have kept their feet firmly on the ground, according to PA.
The actor was catapulted to fame aged just 15 when he took on the role of werewolf Jacob Black in the massively successful film franchise, which also stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
As the vampire series draws to a close with the final instalment, he said:
In some ways we've probably changed a bit. We've all grown up a ton. I started when I was 15 years old, so we've matured a bit and we've learned so much, learned from each other.
