The Duchess of Cambridge was the most searched celebrity of 2012 in the UK, according to Yahoo.co.uk.
Kate's overseas tour, combined with her Olympics role and the controversy over topless photos printed in a French magazine, helped move up from third in 2011, Yahoo said.
