New figures reveal growth in the British manufacturing sector reached a 15-month high in December.

One firm in Scotland that is enjoying a spectacular revival is Harris Tweed Hebrides.

Once associated with the hunting, shooting, fishing set, handwoven Harris Tweed has seen a global surge in popularity.

The Japanese market is really big on tartans, they order in enormous qualities for everything from iphone covers to laptop cases.

ITV News' Scotland Correspondent Debi Edward reports from Stornoway.

Last year, over one million metres of the luxury textile was produced for the first time in a decade, and customers include Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood.

It is a sharp contrast to five years ago when the industry was in danger of dying out.
