A Turkish man is preparing to break the world record in driving in reverse on tough roads.

Mustafa Mert, who lives in the Rize province of Northern Turkey, can drive in reverse for up to 30 km in the mountainous region.

The 37-year-old said he will be ready to apply for the Guinness book of records if he reaches the to 100 or 150 km milestone.

Everybody can drive in smooth roads. But I am trying in tough roads. We chose the most difficult area today.
